EBSU Post UTME/Direct Entry Form for 2026/2027 Screening is Out, How to Apply

• Eligibility: Candidates who chose Ebonyi State University as their first choice (or are willing to change to EBSU) and scored 150 or above in the 2026/2027 UTME can apply for the Post-UTME screening.
• Application Period & Fee: The Post-UTME application opens 22 May 2026 and closes 22 June 2026, with a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000.
• Online Screening Only: There will be no physical screening; candidates must complete the application online through the EBSU portal, and admission updates will be communicated via the portal.
• Important Admission Requirements: Applicants must ensure their names are consistent across all documents, upload their O’Level results to both the EBSU and JAMB portals, and accept any admission offer on JAMB CAPS within two weeks or risk losing it.
• Direct Entry & Awaiting Results: Direct Entry candidates are also required to undergo online screening, while candidates awaiting WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB 2026 results are eligible to apply.

This to inform the general public and all candidates who chose Ebonyi State University (EBSU) as first choice and those that chose other institutions but are willing to change to EBSU, and scored 150 and above in 2026/2027 Unified Tertiary and Matriculation examination (UTME) to visit our website and fill our Post UTME form with full details of their credentials. The application period starts on 22nd May 2026 and ends on 22nd June, 2026.

Candidates are expected to pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000.00 Naira only for the Post-UTME.

Candidates are to note the following:

1. Candidates awaiting the results of NABTEB Olevel, WAEC (May/June) and NECO (June/July) 2026 are eligible to apply
2. Inconsistency in the name is unacceptable to the university and may lead to disqualification. Candidates’ names on their O’ Level certificates, UTME results, and other registration documents must be the same.
3. Candidates are not required to appear for physical screening
4. Candidates will be notified of their admission status via the EBSU portal
5. Candidates must upload their O’level results to the EBSU portal and on the JAMB portal before they can be recommended for admission
6. An offer of admission must be accepted by the candidate on CAPS or JAMB portal within TWO (2) weeks and if not accepted within the period it is withdrawn.

DIRECT ENTRY: All direct entry candidates who chose EBSU are also to be screened online. They are to access the school’s portal and other information about the online screening as stated above and request their institutions to verify their “A” level certificate in JAMB portal to enable EBSU recommend them to JAMB for admission .

Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000 only for the post UTME screening.

1. Log to EBSU POST UTME PORTAL and Scroll to the quick menu
2. Click on Online Application Forms
3. Select Application Form for POSTUTME or Application Form for Direct Entry Candidates
4. Enter your Jamb Registration Number in the correct format
5. Click on LOGIN to generate your payment invoice
6. Proceed to any bank to make your payment or you can pay online with your debit card
7. After payment go back to the portal to fill out the form.
8. Make sure that your personal email address and phone number are used for the application
